Sonoeha

Sonoeha - 苑絵話 is a Japanese but London based painter. He specialises in figurative painting while trying to combine his cultural background and his speciality, using Japanese ink, acrylics and oils. This way, an artistic and inspired interpretation of the fascinating Japanese culture comes to life, with some of its most iconic symbols - Samurai, Geisha and calligraphy, the works he creates are striking images of movement, grace and depth within a unique and distinct style.

A graduate in fine art and winner of several prestigious prizes, he has been exhibiting work at the Mall gallery since 2007and started exposing his Samurai and Geisha paintings at cultural and comic events in several countries since 2013.
